Dr. Vincent CunHai Yu (Dr.TCM, Ph.D. ACUPUNCTURE /TUINA, CHINA) completed his Traditional Chinese Medical Doctor training at Hubei Traditional Chinese Medical University and received his Master's degree in acupuncture from Changchun Traditional Chinese Medical University. He has also trained as a Medical Doctor in China. Dr. Yu is a registered acupuncturist with over 33 years of clinical experience. Dr. Yu practiced as an MD and acupuncturist in hospitals in China for 15 years before moving to Vancouver, Canada where he practices in his own successful acupuncture clinic since 2005.
Dr.Yu is a board member of the BC Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Practitioners (ATCMA). He was invited to become a member of the Kwantlen Polytechnic University TCM program Advisory Committee. In the past, Dr.Yu served as chair of the Academic Committee of QATCMA and is the ex-president of the Canada Acupuncturist & TCM Headquarters Association. He is a well-known speaker at Traditional Chinese medical conferences. He likes sharing his knowledge and experience and now he is an instructor at the International College of TCM in Vancouver.
Dr. Yu has completed extensive research on lower back pain, sciatica, digestion related troubles and headaches and has published three books on these topics. He has also published over eighteen medical papers in prestigious medical research journals. His expertise includes rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondilitis, hair loss, soft tissues injury, nerve pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, neck pain, insomnia, facial palsy, depression, strokes, weight loss, low immunity, eczema, quitting smoking and acne.
has been in Kaitlin completed her Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine of Acupuncture at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Diploma in Kinesiology at Langara College.
With her background in Kinesiology, she is experienced in treating soft tissue injuries such as the neck/back/shoulder pain. She also likes to treats for anti-aging of the face for rejuvenating of the skin.
Forms of treatment she uses in her practice include Acupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha scraping, and Tui Na massage.
In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym to benefit the brain and the body. She has a sweet tooth and loves to try out new dessert spots.
